What is Lent?

Lent is a 40-day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving in the Catholic Church, preparing the faithful for Easter by calling them to repentance and spiritual renewal. It begins on Ash Wednesday and ends with the Sacred Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday), leading to the celebration of Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Inspired by Jesus’ 40 days of fasting in the desert, Lent invites Catholics to deepen their faith through self-discipline, reflection, and acts of charity. The season’s purple vestments symbolize penance and preparation, while its key practices—prayer, fasting, and almsgiving—help believers grow closer to God and embrace the joy of Easter with renewed hearts.

Do Catholics worship Mary?

We don’t “worship” Mary, rather we ask Mary to intercede to her Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Not unlike asking a family member,, friend, or colleague to pray for you, but who better to intercede on your behalf than the mother of Jesus!

Do you do baptisms?

Yes! We do perform Roman Catholic Baptisms.

What are Mass times?

Mass times are listed on the home page and is updated weekly.
